Testing criteria for the Bit Error Rate Test (BERT) test
The pass/fail limits are set by the ITU-T standard G.821. The following are what the standard calls for:
- Errored Seconds ratio must be less than 1,2%
- The Severely Errored Seconds ratio must be less than 0,015%
- There must be no unavailable seconds
- The Bit Error Rate should not exceed 1,1 E-003
