Versiv™ Release Notes for Version 6,14 (September 2025)

    • If the remote has 6,14 firmware, the main to remote update fails and it just tells user to repeatedly to check the cables. Same for remote to main if the main has 6,14 firmware.
      The workaround is to use a USB cable and LinkWare PC and try the update again.
    • For v6.14 build 7 and 8, if the PIN starts with a 0, then the update will fail.
      The workaround is to first change the PIN so it does not start with a 0 and try the update again.

Enhancements:

  • When using the CertiFiber Pro set to bi-directional for LC, FC or ST, the tester will wait 3 seconds before automatically start testing again after the cables are swapped. We have increased this to 5 seconds for higher density panels, where it can take more than three seconds to fully engage the connector. To disable this feature, simply select General as the fiber connector type.
  • Allow a 3-jumper reference for the IEC 14763-3 limit

Fehlerbehebung:

  • When selecting a CertiFiber Pro or OptiFiber Pro module, you don’t get a choice of End Type for the fiber inspection test - fixed
  • OTDR bi-directional averaging incorrectly groups widely spaced losses – fixed

  • Test kann nicht mit Laboradapterspezifikation ausgeführt werden, wenn Kanaladapter CHA004 angeschlossen ist - behoben
  • Kupfer-LIA-Versions-Informationen sollten kein Kalibrierungsdatum enthalten - behoben
